What is the part that you don’t like being a farmer?
I don’t there is anything that I don’t like only there are some difficulties that need to dealt. Like you are paid once a year so it gets a bit different from other jobs and thus it requires more planning to set things up and plan a whole year accordingly. Next is the right place to plant your seeds; every year I have to find an adequate place for farming but that too is not a disadvantage, only it requires some dedicated work. Lastly, it really is a tough job that requires manly efforts every next day and it is not a job that promises cleanliness that is you will be in dust or mud every now and then, and so on.
What is the part that you enjoy most being a farmer?
The best part is that I don’t have to say ‘yes sir’ every now and then. That means that I am my own boss. I can change my daily life routine according to my family plans. I can give a lot more time to my family unlike any other job. Apart from this, the environment is real healthy and closest to nature. Fresh air is always there to welcome me. I can grow whatever I want according to my requirements with lowest possible chemical induction in those. Last but not the least, I have a very flexible time schedule being a farmer which is why I enjoy this life more than anything.
What is your daily routine being a farmer?
Now that surely depends on the time of year. That is a piece of what I like about cultivating, the calendar is always showing signs of change which is why you never get exhausted doing likewise too long. During spring we prepare up for the plantations and then we go on with plantation routines, which obviously gets tiring at some point because work begins at sunrise and finishes at sunset. Then we have to properly water the plantations and seeds and take care of insects showing up and so on. Last is the harvest time which is a great opportunity to collect, we’re in the fields to nightfall once more and this harvest time mostly falls during winter times so we have a lot of time to deal with the harvesting phase.
Why you chose to be a farmer? When it occurred to you that this is what you wanted to do?
Well everyone has its own inspiration for being at some place; mine was Jim Rogers. When I decided to quit my past job I was looking up to find a new field to start working on that will be beneficial for me on a long term basis as well, I came across some finding of Jim Rogers which meant that soon enough incomes of farmers will rise at a very high pace as compared to all other industries. This is because there are enough bankers in the world now which ultimately means that there won’t be any more need of bankers but the world is really going to face a food deficit in a short time. This calls towards the need of more and more farmers in near future. Thus, I just pondered on it and got convinced due to numerous facts and figures supporting this idea.
